They went over what happened and who is involved. They did mention new people may not be interested in keeping stuff like Jezabelle. They said it was profitable and readership has increased in these troubled times, so not so troubled after all.

Can’t report on the tranny but it was an old lady and I never saw her arm move as we took off up to the highway.

Awesome IS300 wagon

The X-Type is cooler because it was available with a manual transmission and a hood ornament. But even though the X-Type is easily the best Jag ever made, it’s still nowhere near as good quality as any Toyota.

If it was Ziff Davis that won the auction, the Gawker website was most likely going to be sold or closed. Haven’t heard about the rest of the Gawker family but ZD wasn’t to interested in Jez at first either.

This was years ago, when I was shopping for other wagons. I think it was a 60k example for 17 grand, at the time I just couldn’t justify rwd in my life, I needed something more versatile.

That seems likely. They may just want to buy it so that they can use Kinja and all the physical equipment, or they may want to keep it as a journalistic platform. Only time will tell, I guess.
